Hugo Keuerleber
Hugo Keuerleber (born February 27, 1883 in Stuttgart ; † September 21, 1949 there ) was a German architect and university professor .
His parents were Johannes Wilhelm Keuerleber (1847–1911) and Luise Caroline Pauline, b. Taschner (1850-1926). His siblings included Theodor Carl and Emilie Elise.
Hugo Keuerleber studied architecture from 1902 to 1908 at the Technical University of Stuttgart and became a member of the Corps Rhenania there . In 1909 he passed the main diploma examination. He worked as a freelance architect until 1911 and then became an employee at Habich in Stuttgart. From 1912 he headed the construction office of the exhibition for health care and had to do military service from 1914 to 1918 in the First World War.
From 1919 he was a building officer in the city expansion office of the city of Stuttgart and from 1922 head of the state advisory center for the construction industry in Württemberg . From 1926 to 1949 he was a professor at the Technical University of Stuttgart and held the chair for building materials , technical expansion and design.
In December 1923 he married Frida Drogmöller. The couple has the children Hugo (1920–1941), Dorothee Luise (* 1924), Gloria Ursula and Eva.
