Hugo Neumann (pseudonyms: Hugo Alfons Revel, Hugo Alphonse Revel) (born November 6, 1867 in Vienna ; † unknown [after 1922]) was an Austrian lawyer and writer.

Life and activity

Hugo Neumann studied law in Vienna and Göttingen . He started out as an officer before coming to Berlin in 1893 , where he earned his living as a singing teacher and writer. He wrote novels, short stories, short stories and dramas under the pseudonyms Hugo Al fons Revel and Hugo Al phonse .
