Hugo Reinhold
Hugo Reinhold (born March 3, 1854 in Vienna ; † September 4, 1935 there ) was an Austrian composer and pianist .
Life
Hugo Reinhold was a singer in the boys' choir of the Vienna Court Orchestra and then studied until 1874 at the Conservatory of the Society of Friends of Music in Vienna with Anton Bruckner , Felix Otto Dessoff and Julius Epstein . Reinhold was sponsored by the Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha . Later he was a piano teacher at the Vienna Music Academy.
Although he was well known during his lifetime and his compositions a. a. performed by the Vienna Philharmonic and the Hellmesberger Quartet , little is known today about the composer's life.
