Hugo Wolff-Maage
Hugo Wolff-Maage (born May 11, 1866 in Berlin ; † 1947 ) was a German painter and illustrator.
Life
Wolff-Maage studied at the Royal Academy of Arts in Berlin . After completing his studies, a longer stay in Italy followed. Travels also took him to the island of Rügen . In 1890 and 1892 he took part in the exhibition at the Berlin Academy. At the Great Berlin Art Exhibition in 1906 he exhibited a portrait of the painter Adolf Henning . In the Geological Museum Berlin he showed plant drawings (display boards). In April 1918 he exhibited watercolors , drawings and prints (bookplates and illustrations) in a comprehensive special exhibition at the Hindenburg School in Oberschöneweide .
