Hugo Ritter von Goldegg zu Lindenburg (born March 14, 1829 in Trient , † December 12, 1904 in Partschins ) was a Tyrolean politician and heraldist.

Life

Hugo von Goldegg, landowner, was elected to the Tyrolean state parliament in 1861 . In 1866 he became a captain and kk chamberlain. In 1870 he joined the Corps Athesia Innsbruck. In 1873 he became a member of the Reichsrat (Austria) . As a heraldist he developed the Tyrolean heraldic books, kept in the aristocratic archives of the Imperial and Royal Ministry of the Interior in Vienna, by creating an extensive index of names. He was the founding chairman of the Bolzano gymnastics club in 1862 .
