Humberto de Araújo Benevenuto , (born August 4, 1903 in Rio de Janeiro , † unknown) was a Brazilian national football player .

Career

Benevenuto has worked for Americano-RJ, Jequiá-RJ, Flamengo Rio de Janeiro , Atlético-MG, Botafogo Rio de Janeiro , Cruzeiro-RS, Carioca, Portuguesa-RJ and Olímpico-RJ. With Flamengo he won in 1925 and 1927, with Botafogo in 1932 the national championship of Rio de Janeiro. He is said to have been in the ranks of the Club Atlético Peñarol in 1932 and 1933 . However, his name is not mentioned in the roster and cannot be found in listings of the seasonal master data in the literature.

National team

He was part of the national team at the Football World Cup in 1930 , but was not used. He received his first use in a friendly game on August 10, 1930 in a 4-1 against Yugoslavia . He had his second game on August 17, 1930 in another friendly against the United States . This ended 4: 3.
