The Hundsteinhütte is a mountain hut belonging to the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) in the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden .
It is located around six kilometers east of the Säntis above the Fälensee at 1,553 m above sea level. M. Höhe in the Alpstein of the Appenzell Alps .
The hut offers 44 beds in summer (dormitory). It is manned continuously from May to October. During the winter months there are 12 beds in the winter room.
