Hunter Carson

Hunter Carson (born December 26, 1975 in Los Angeles ) is an American actor , director , producer and screenwriter .

Life

Carson is the son of actress Karen Black and screenwriter LM Kit Carson . He made his film debut in 1984 in the film Paris, Texas by Wim Wenders , for which his father wrote the screenplay with Sam Shepard . In 1986 he was slated for the role of Bud Bundy on A Terribly Nice Family . However, a pilot that had already been shot but not broadcast was not approved, so Carson was replaced by David Faustino . Also in 1986 he played with his mother in Invasion of Mars . In 2004 Carson made his debut as a director with the short film With It .

Awards

For his role in Paris, Texas , Carson was nominated for the 1986 Young Artist Award for Best Actor in a Feature Film. In 2004 he received an honorable mention at the Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival for his directorial work, the short film With it .
