action

The priest Thomas Fauser sits between the chairs after a man in the confessional asks him for absolution for the murder of a prostitute, while the petty criminal Dieter Kleinschmidt was arrested by the police for this act. As a priest, Fauser is bound by the confessional secret and cannot pass his knowledge on to the investigating police officer Klaus Schreier. Even his sister Anna, who is in love with Inspector Schreier, is not allowed to tell anything about the murder confession in the confessional. But the thought that an innocent man is behind bars does not let up. Equipped with a weapon, he investigates in the red light district to collect evidence and clues for Dieter Kleinschmidt's innocence.
