history
The place was first mentioned in 1796. At Hwosdawka Perscha and the neighboring town of Hwosdawka Druha, a concentration camp and two ghettos were established in 1941 under the rule of National Socialism . In 2007 a mass grave with the remains of about 5000 people was found there during excavations, of which only 93 are known by name. It is assumed that these are Jews murdered by the National Socialists.
