ICC World Cricket League Division Four 2008
The ICC World Cricket League Division Four 2008 was the first edition of this one-day cricket competition and took place between October 4th and 11th, 2008 in Tanzania . The competition was part of the ICC World Cricket League 2007-09 . In the final, Afghanistan beat Hong Kong with 57 runs and both together with Denmark and Namibia qualified for the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2009 in South Africa.

format
In a group stage, each team played against each other. The winner of a game received two points, and a tie or no result received one point. The two group winners climbed into the ICC World Cricket League Division Three in 2009 and played a final. The third and fourth placed remained in Division Four and play in the ICC World Cricket League Division Four 2010 . The fifth and sixth placed were relegated to Division Five and participated in the 2010 ICC World Cricket League Division Five .
