ICC World Cricket League 2007-09
The ICC World Cricket League 2007-2009 was the first season of the ICC World Cricket League (WCL). It consisted of five worldwide divisions. The divisions played staggered in time and roughly viewed from bottom to top in individual tournaments that are played in the ODI format. In each tournament, two promoted players are determined who are then allowed to compete in the next division at the next tournament. At the end there was the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2009 , which was held in South Africa .
Attendees
In principle, the 'Associate' and 'Affiliate' members of the ICC were eligible to participate . These were grouped into the divisions according to their strengths.
