At the Omni Hotels National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships in 2002, the indoor champions in US college tennis were determined. One of the four competitions was the men's singles . The game was played from November 7th to 10th on the grounds of the Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch , Texas . The host was Southern Methodist University . The German Benedikt Dorsch from Baylor University emerged as the winner . He was the first player in the school to win this title.
