I Walk the Line is a Finnish punk rock band named after the Johnny Cash song of the same name .

history

The band was founded in Helsinki in 2003 and was a side project of Wasted and Manifesto Jukebox , which very quickly united punk , hardcore and various rock fans at concerts. The group plays mid-tempo punk rock that is supported by an organ. They themselves describe their music as "dark melodic punk", whose influences range from Rocket from the Crypt and The Clash to Devo and Adolescents to Wipers and The Cure .

In February 2004, the first album Badlands was released , followed by tours in Germany and the United Kingdom. The second album Desolation Streets was released in Germany and Finland in 2006, and the single Diamond Eyes followed in July . After Desolation Streets was released again in 2007 on an American label, the band toured the USA, Japan and Europe. In 2008 the single from the album of the same name Black Wave Rising was released , which was the last release of the Finns so far.
