After studying in Vienna , in 1945 she founded the pottery "Die Töpferstube". She exhibited her practical ceramics in faience painting technique for the first time in 1948 at the Hanover Fair .

At the beginning of the 1960s, in addition to everyday ceramics, she increasingly produced unique ceramic items . The pottery shop moved to Bad Wiessee in 1960/61 , where only unique items were then made. For these, she sometimes used glazes she had developed herself.
