Iberiotoxin is a protein and scorpion toxin . Iberiotoxin binds and inhibits calcium- activated potassium channels of the type maxi-K ( KCa1.1 / KCNMA1 ). Iberiotoxin is structurally related to charybdotoxin a , charybdotoxin b , limbatus toxin and also to noxious toxin , margatoxin and tityus toxin Kα .
