Ibrahima N'Diaye (politician)

Ibrahima N'Diaye (born May 2, 1948 in Kayes ) is a Malian politician.

Life

After basic studies in his hometown, Ibrahima N'Diaye continued his studies at the “École normal secondaire” (ENSEC) in Bamako . He earned a master's degree in mathematics and physics. He teaches in Kayes and Kéniéba as well as at the "Institute for Young Blind People in Mali" in Bamako.

He continued his studies in France, first between 1982 and 1983 at the University of Victor Segalen Bordeaux II , then between 1983 and 1987 at the University of Paris-Nanterre . He has BA and MA in Education , a Post Graduate Degree in Social Psychology, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education.

N'Diaye became a member of the "Alliance for Democracy in Mali Party for Liberty, Solidarity and Justice" ( ADEMA-PASJ ), of which he was general secretary from 1994 to 1999, before becoming one of the deputy chairmen of this party from 1999 onwards. He was mayor of Bamako District from 1998 to 2003.

After heading the State Employment Agency (ANPE), N'Diaye was appointed “Minister for Employment and Vocational Education” in the Modibo Sidibé cabinet in October 2007 . He remained in this position until the cabinet reshuffle on April 9, 2009.

During the Africa Festival 2012 in Würzburg he was honored for his activities as part of the festival's children's program.
