Ictus Records
Ictus Records is an independent record label for European avant-garde music , founded in 1976 by Andrea Centazzo as musical director and his wife Carla Lugli as producer in Bologna , Italy . There albums by Kent Carter , Steve Lacy , Derek Bailey , Pierre Favre , Andrea Centazzo, Guido Mazzon , the group Bang (around Herb Robertson and Tim Berne ) and many others have been released. The label, on which initially mainly projects around Andrea Centazzo were documented, collapsed in 1984. In 2006 it was in Long Beach, Californiabrought back to life and has also released numerous older recordings digitally on CD .
At the same time, Ed Summerlin has published his own productions under this name.
