Idrissa Traoré

Idrissa Traoré (nickname: Saboteur ; born December 24, 1943 in Gaoua , Burkina Faso ) is a football coach from the West African state of Burkina Faso.

From 1964 to 1970 he was a national player in what was then known as Upper Volta . He obtained his A license at the sports school in Cologne and a doctorate in law from the University of Montpellier in France. He coached teams in various African countries and was named Africa Coach of the Year in 2002 .

He has been the national team coach for his country since July 1st, 2006 .
