Iglesia de Cristo Obrero y Nuestra Señora de Lourdes (German: Church of Christ the Workers and Our Lady of Lourdes ) is a Roman Catholic church of the Diocese of Canelones in Estación Atlántida , a suburb of the Municipio Atlantida in the Department of Canelones , Uruguay . It is often referred to briefly as Iglesia Christo Obrero or Church of Atlántida, of which it is the parish church. It is located on the northern edge of the village at 164 km of Route 11 .

The church was designed by the Uruguayan architect Eladio Dieste in 1952 and built from 1958 to 1960. 2018, this church has been proposed for inclusion on the World Heritage List of UNESCO after in 2010 the complete works of the architect Dieste had been proposed for it.

The church, which includes a round openwork campanile about three meters in diameter, is built entirely of brick . The floor plan is basically rectangular, but both the walls and the ceiling / roof are wavy. The church measures 16 meters in width and 30 meters in length, the height of the nave is seven meters.
