Ignazio Breccia Fratadocchi

Ignazio Breccia Fratadocchi (* 1927 in Torre di Palme / Fermo , Marche ; † September 19, 2013 in Rome ) was an Italian architect .

Life

He worked in the office of his father, the civil engineer Giuseppe Breccia Fratadocchi (1898–1955), who worked with the architect Marcello Piacentini , and were busy with the rebuilding and reconstruction of the Montecassino Abbey , which was destroyed in World War II . After the death of his father, he finished the construction work in Montecassino in the 1950s.

In Rome he became known for several contemporary church buildings . He was a member of the Technical Commission for the New Churches of the Vicariate of Rome under the direction of Father Costantino Ruggeri and involved in the program “50 Churches for Rome 2000” (50 Chiese per Roma 2000).
