Porto Sant'Elpidio is an Italian commune ( comune ) with 26,395 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the northeast of the province of Fermo in the Marche region . Porto Sant'Elpido is a coastal town on the Adriatic . The municipality borders on the province of Macerata .

To the north of the town the Chienti flows into the Adriatic Sea, south of the Tenna .
