Porto San Giorgio is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 16,101 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Fermo in Marche . The municipality is located directly on the Adriatic Sea . Here the Ete Vivo flows into the sea. The place itself is about 5 kilometers east of Fermo .

Porto San Giorgio is connected to the rail network with a train station on the line from Ancona to Pescara . The previously existing connection to Amandola via a narrow-gauge railway was closed in 1956. The Autostrada A14 and Strada Statale 16 Adriatica run through the municipality .
Community partnerships
Porto San Giorgio maintains an intra-Italian partnership with the municipality of Gessopalena in the province of Chieti and two others with the Croatian city of Biograd na Moru in the Zadar County and the Upper Austrian municipality of Bad Ischl .
