Ihor Pashchuk ( Ukrainian Ігор Пащук / Russian Игорь Пашчук Igor Pashchuk , also Igor Pashchuk ) is a former Ukrainian boxer .

successes

Ihor Pashchuk took part in 2001 in the lightweight at the Junior European Championships in Sarajevo , where he won a bronze medal. After victories against Artak Manukyan from Armenia (TKO), Ionuț Gheorghe from Romania (31:14) and Anton Maksimov from Belarus (34:14), he lost to Selçuk Aydın from Turkey (11:22) in the semifinals .

His greatest success was winning the silver medal in the light welterweight division at the 2004 European Championships in Pula . He had reached the final with victorious fights against Paul McCloskey from Ireland (22:16), Sergey Bykovsky from Belarus (34:15), Boris Georgiew from Bulgaria (46:25) and Willy Blain from France (37:35). There he had to get out without a fight due to an injury, which made the Russian Alexander Maletin European champion.

In August 2004 Paschtschuk was not allowed at the medical reasons Olympics from Athens to attend.
