Trip to Somalia and assassination

At the beginning of 1994 she researched illegal transports of toxic waste to Somalia, initially in Croatia , but without much success there. She then traveled to Somalia (which she had already visited several times ) and, together with her cameraman Miran Hrovatin , observed the loading of toxic waste in Bosaso , and she managed to film. A few hours after an interview with Abdullahy Mussa Bogor, Sultan of Bosaso, about illegal arms transports, she and her cameraman were shot in Mogadishu. As a result of the murder, the Italian parliament set up a commission of inquiry. The murder has not yet been resolved.
