Iliad Lappas

Ilias Lappas ( Greek Ηλίας Λάππας , born July 20, 1979 in Athens ) is a Greek volleyball player .

Ilias Lappas, who plays outside attacker at a height of 1.94 m, began his career in 1991 with the Greek club Koukaki, where he played for six years. In the summer of 1997 Lappas moved to Panellinios Athens before signing a one-year contract four years later with league rivals AEK Athens . After one more season each with Aris Thessaloniki and PAOK Thessaloniki , he moved to the top club Panathinaikos Athens in 2004 , where he is still under contract today. With Panathinaikos, Lappas was able to win a championship and a cup victory in 2006 as well as the Greek Supercup (2006) and also managed to qualify for the final 4 tournaments of the Top Teams Cup .

Ilias Lappas is an integral part of the Greek national team and took part in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens .
