Ilijas Ispanov

Ilijas Saparbekuly Ispanow ( Kazakh Ілияс Сапарбекұлы Испанов , Russian Ильяс Сапарбекович Испанов / Ilyas Saparbekowitsch Ispanow * 1. January 1976 in Semchos, Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh politician.

Life

Ilijas Ispanow was born in 1976 in the village of Semchos in Ordabassy County in the Chimkent Oblast . He graduated from the Kazakh Humanitarian and Legal University in Aqmola in 1996 . In 2007 he graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science .

He began his professional career in 1993 as an employee and deputy director of the Ak-Bastau branch in Saryaghasch . In the following years he worked for the Kazakh National Bank and the Republican Budget Bank in the region and between 1997 and 1998 he headed the regional branch of Temirbank in Saryaghash. Between 1999 and 2002 he was assistant to the Äkim of the South Kazakhstan region and then assistant to the chairman of the Kazakh Customs Control Committee. From 2003 to 2005 he worked for the Kazakh authorities in the capital Astana (since 2019 Nur-Sultan) and from October 2005 to February 2006 Ispanow worked in the Kazakh Ministry of Finance. He then held various positions in the Kazakh judiciary. He was first employed by the city court in Astana and then first deputy chairman of the administrative committee of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan. In April 2009, he first became head of the Department of Economy and Finance of the Kazakh Prosecutor General and then held other positions in the Prosecutor General. Between September 2013 and July 2016 he worked again at the Supreme Court. On July 4, 2016 he was appointed Äkim (Mayor) of the city of Aqtöbe .
