history

The Catholic branch church of St. Peter and Paul is essentially medieval. The 1818 with the Bavarian Gemeindeedikt established rural community Ilmried was on 1 April 1971. in the course of administrative reform in Bavaria incorporated to the municipality Ilmmünster.
