Ilona Knobbe

Ilona Knobbe (born February 10, 1948 in Leipzig ) is a German actress , cabaret artist , director and theater pedagogue.

Life

Knobbe grew up in the GDR . After studying acting at the Leipzig Theater Academy (1967–1971) and an internship at the Städtisches Theater Karl-Marx-Stadt (1969–1971), she received engagements at the Greifswald Theater and the Kleist-Theater Frankfurt (Oder) , in whose ensemble she was up to Closing the theater in 2000 was seen in 300 roles. She was a director at the youth theater at the semiconductor plant in Frankfurt (Oder) and received an art prize for the production "Playing Peace". This was followed by work for film, television and the "Oderwelle", u. a. as the spokeswoman for the “Morning Greetings”. Then she worked as a freelancer. Knobbe lives in Berlin and in Wittenberg .
