Ilse Kögler (* 1952 in Mödling ) is an Austrian Catholic theologian , religious educator and university teacher .

Life

Ilse Kögler studied theology and English, from the third year she also worked as a religion teacher at the boys' secondary school, and later eleven years at the Bundesgymnasium Mödling. In 1978 she graduated with the graduation from the Master of Theology. From 1980 to 1997 she worked as an assistant at the Institute for Religious Education and Catechetics at the Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Vienna . 1991 doctorate her to a doctor of theology . From 1994 to 1997 she held a teaching position for catechetics at the University of Heiligenkreuz . She also completed additional training in topic-centered interaction (TZI) and integrative supervision. Since 1997 she has been professor for catechetics / religious education and school education at the Catholic Private University Linz (KU). From 2002 to 2006 she was the rector of this university , and from 2007 to 2010 that of the prorector .
