Conquered in flight (original title Paperman ) is an American animated short film directed by John Kahrs from 2012 .

action

New York City : The office worker George meets the young Meg on the platform. One of his numerous papers flies in her face so that the paper now bears her lipstick imprint. A little later, George is sitting in the open-plan office and has a high pile of papers to be processed. Suddenly he sees Meg in the skyscraper opposite. George tries to draw attention to himself by waving at first, but his boss asks him to go to work. Instead, he starts to fold paper airplanes from the numerous papers that he has to work on, but fails to throw them through Meg's window. In the end all he has left is the sheet of paper with her lipstick kiss, but this one too falls to the ground without hitting his target.

As Meg is leaving, George ignores his other papers and walks down and across the street. However, he misses Meg, who has already turned the corner and goes home. Meanwhile, the paper airplane with the lipstick kiss moves unnoticed towards all the other paper airplanes that suddenly begin to fly. They catch up with George and hang on to him. George throws away the lipstick plane angrily and it lands directly in front of Meg after a few detours. She follows the plane onto a train, while the planes guide George onto her track. So both meet again on the platform. At the end you can see them together in a bar.
