Imke Lohmeyer

Imke Lohmeyer (born November 15, 1988 ) is a former German soccer referee who directed games in the women's Bundesliga.

Career

Lohmeyer was DFB referee from 2007 until the end of the 2016/17 season. From the 2008/09 season she assisted in the women's Bundesliga , from 2009 she whistled game in the 2nd women's Bundesliga. In 2012 the classification for the 1st women's Bundesliga took place. In the top German division in women's football, Lohmeyer led 27 games. In parallel to being classified as a women's Bundesliga referee, she also directs seven games in the fourth-class men's regional league for one season, followed by games in the fifth-class men's upper league. Lohmeyer was also used internationally as an assistant referee. In 2013, together with Katrin Rafalski, she assisted the Norwegian Christina Pedersen in the international friendly match of the German women's national team against the women's national team from the USA. In 2015, the quarter-final first leg of the UEFA Women's Champions League followed between the teams from Glasgow City FC and Paris Saint-Germain , under the direction of Riem Hussein . In the 2015/16 season, she assisted in two other UEFA Women's Champions League matches, the first leg of the first leg between Atlético Madrid and Olympique Lyon and the second leg of the quarter-final between Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona . Both games were again under the direction of Riem Hussein. At the end of the 2016/17 season, the then trainee teacher announced her resignation from refereeing for health reasons.

Lohmeyer now teaches at the Cooperative Comprehensive School Sittensen .
