Imke Wedekind (born June 23, 1984 in Reinbek ) is a former German volleyball player .

Career

Wedekind began her career in 1996 at TSV Glinde . Two years later she moved to CVJM Hamburg . Later she went to the volleyball boarding school of Schweriner SC and played at 1. VC Parchim . In 2005 the middle blocker was hired by VT Aurubis Hamburg . After nine years at VT Aurubis Hamburg, she announced her resignation in 2014.

In 2007, the former junior national player also played in the senior national team .

Private

Imke Wedekind studied in Hamburg law .
