occupation

In nome del padre, del figlio e della Colt (German: "In the name of the father, the son and the Colt") is an inexpensive spaghetti western from 1971, not shown in German-speaking countries . Mario Bianchi directed.

action

Despite their different names, Mace Cassidy and Bill Nolan are twin brothers: Mace a notorious bandit and rapist, Bill the sheriff of a small town. He's got to solve a series of murders committed by a masked man during the Halloween celebrations. However, he himself is arrested and put in prison because he is accused of the crime by a father of a rape victim and is now considered to be the head of a gang of thieves. He can only explain with great effort that his twin brother is the one responsible he faces in the final duel, which he can decide for himself.

criticism

The worst reviews of all places: Christian Keßler justifies his judgment “waste of time” with the fact that the film “shuffles slowly forward” and that the final fight is “only moderately exciting”.

Remarks

The alternative title is Per un breviario di dollari . The film contains a number of elements of a Giallo .
