The Indasia Gewürzwerk GmbH is a manufacturer of mixed spices in Georgsmarienhütte ( Lower Saxony ), which both the industry , the craft and the trade supplying the food industry. Indasia has been part of the Moguntia Food Group since 1975 .

Products

The Indasia range includes both raw spices , spice blends, spice marinades , seasoned sauces and liquid compounds. The company also offers quality additives and technology solutions in the form of cutter aids , tenderizers, starter cultures , flavors, etc. for meat processing, as well as artificial casings and nets for roasts and ham.

history

On August 8, 1949, the India-Gewürzwerk GmbH was founded by Hans Wulfes in Osnabrück . In 1956 a patent pool was founded with the company AVO for intestinal ham nets with elastic cross-meshes. Due to the necessary expansion of capacity, India moved from Osnabrück to Georgsmarienhütte , the current location, in 1963 .

In 1970 the three mainstays of India (classic sausage spices, technological quality additives and ham nets) were expanded with the introduction of the household spice line, and a new CI was designed for all printed matter in 1975 , from which the slogan of the India company - for the sake of taste! resulted. In 1976, the India long-distance trips to the countries where the pepper grows were carried out for the first time with a participation of about 300 people. Cold grinding of spices was also introduced.

In 1989, the year of its fortieth anniversary, the number of orders per year exceeded the 50,000 mark for the first time. In 1990 the name was changed to Indasia Gewürzwerk GmbH , as the name India (English for India ) could not be protected and the company slogan was changed to Indasia - for the sake of taste! Indasia is IFS and Halal certified. In 2012 Indasia was certified according to RSPO criteria. In 2013, almost 200 employees and sales of 38 million euros produced around 13,000 tons of spice mixtures.
