Indian Ocean Island Games 2011 / Soccer

At the 8th Indian Ocean Island Games 2011 ( French Jeux des Iles de l'Océan India ), a men's soccer tournament was held in the Seychelles . Seven teams took part in the competition for the first time, and the host from the Seychelles won the tournament with a final victory over the team from Mauritius . The games took place in the Stade Linité in the capital Victoria and the Stade d'Amitié in Praslin ; Fabrice Pithia (Mauritius) was the top scorer with three goals .
