IndustriALL European Trade Union
IndustriALL European Trade Union (also: industriAll Europe) is a European trade union federation and member of the European Trade Union Confederation based in Brussels . IndustriALL Europe has 177 member organizations in 38 countries with a total of around 7 million members.
history
IndustriAll European Trade Union was founded on May 12, 2012 as a merger of
- EFBCE European Mining, Chemical and Energy Federation EMCEF,
- EMF European Metalworkers' Federation (Engl. European Metalworkers Federation EMF) and
- EGV-TBL European Federation of Textile, Clothing and Leather ETUF-TCL
founded.
The 2nd Congress took place from June 7th to 9th, 2016 in Madrid .
Current situation
- "IndustriAll European Trade Union is an association of independent and democratic trade unions representing workers in the metal, chemical, energy, mining, textiles, clothing, leather and footwear sectors as well as related industries and activities." Article 3 - "Aims and means" of the Statute
- "IndustriAll European Trade Union coordinates its measures and activities with IndustriALL Global Union ." Article 6 - "Aims and means" of the Statute
The geographical organizational area consists of eight regions:
- Southern region: IT, GR, MT, CY, TR
- Benelux region: BE, NL, LU
- Central region: AT, CH, DE
- Southeast region: RO, BG, ME, MK, RS, XE, AL, HR, BA
- Eastern region: CZ, SK, PL, HU, SI
- British-Irish Region: UK, IE
- North and Baltic region: DK, NO, SE, FI, IS, EE, LV, LT
- Southwest region: ES, FR, PT, MC

Affiliates are
- from Germany: IG BCE and IG Metall
- from Austria: GPA-DJP and PRO-GE ,
- from Switzerland: TS SYNA , TS VPE and UNIA .
The President of IndustriALL European Trade Union is Michael Vassiliadis , Secretary General Luc Triangle .
