Infected Mushroom is an Israeli psytrance / indie / psychedelic band that was founded in 1999 by Erez Eisen and Amit "Duvdev" Duvdevani. They received great attention in the Goa scene in 2000 with the album Classical Mushroom .

Career

Infected Mushroom was voted one of the 100 best DJs (26th place) by British DJ Magazine in 2005 . In 2006 they reached number 12 and in 2007 even number 9. In early 2006, Infected Mushrooms moved from Israel to Los Angeles (USA), where they say they have better opportunities to collaborate with other artists (also outside the Goa scene).

In 2007 the band composed the soundtrack for the then new version 6 of the ICQ instant messaging program .

They had their breakthrough in the USA in 2009 with the album Legend of the Black Shawarma , which brought them into the top 10 of the dance album charts.

The band gained notoriety among computer gamers because the song Never Mind from the album Army of Mushrooms is used as an intro in the live broadcasts of the popular game League of Legends .
