action

At the entrance to hell: there the eternal horror, the inferno, waits for the poor souls who have been guilty of something on earth. Thousands of damned hands reach out to the newcomers. The newcomer is called Ulrik and is immediately taken into the crossfire by the Hell Lady, what he has done that his path leads him here. Ulrik explains that he was once a tavern on earth. One day he met the beautiful Eva, a hungry emaciated woman who had slumped powerlessly on the edge of a country road. He took the young woman home and nursed her back to health. Having regained their strength, Eva and Ulrik became a couple. The girl became the soul of his business, and although she loved him too, one day she just ran away, says Ulrik. Things were going downhill with the pub as well as with Ulrik himself. When he saw Eva step out of a church, all in white, one day, he discovered that his beloved had not only found someone else, but had also married her. Then Ulrik threw himself into the water with suicidal intent and drowned. Satan is interested in this story, and since his throat is already overcrowded, he takes Ulrik's form and wants to see what this perfidious Eve is all about on earth.

She found happiness in her husband, the astrologer Gerdner. They have one child together. To find out about Eve, Satan leads the family as Dr. Natas - "Satan" mirror-inverted - a. Of course, Eva immediately recognizes the resemblance to the ominous Dr. Natas with her former savior Ulrik. Soon she succumbs to all the temptations that Satan calls her as Dr. Natas reveals: She forgets her motherly love, marital fidelity and, ultimately, any pride. Eva sinks back down into the gutter from which she once rescued Ulrik and becomes an amoral whore at night, while during the day she continues the double life of a modest wife and mother. Husband Gerdner notices the changes in his wife, but cannot really interpret them and therefore secretly creates a horoscope for her . The result terrifies him: On May 19th, the stars say, she should die at his hand. To escape this fate, he leaves the house on May 18th and takes the train for an excursion. The next day he waits again for the train that is about to bring him home. It is not yet midnight when Gerdner stops in a bar and sees his wife in a funny group at the rendezvous. Eva lives out her second self, her unrestrained bitch life, in a waiter's costume. Full of anger, Gerdner rushes at his wife and assassins her. Now the abyss of hell, the inferno, opens up for Eva too.
