Inge Blask (born November 26, 1959 in Castrop-Rauxel , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German SPD politician . She was from 2012 to 2017 and has been a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia again since 2018 . She first moved into the state parliament as a directly elected MP for the Märkischer Kreis II constituency , then as a replacement for the resigned MP Svenja Schulze .

After secondary school in 1979 graduated Inge Blask four years Nutritional Sciences at the University of Applied Sciences Muenster . In 1983 she obtained her diploma and started her professional activity at the consumer center in North Rhine-Westphalia. She first worked as a consultant, later headed the office in Iserlohn and was regional manager since 1990.

Her political career began in local politics after joining the SPD in 1985. Between 1989 and 1999 Inge Blask was a member of the district council in the Märkisches Kreis . She has been a member of the Hemer City Council since 2004, and has been the deputy parliamentary group leader and school policy spokesperson since the local elections in 2009 . In the SPD local association Hemer and in the SPD sub-district Märkischer Kreis she was elected as an assessor on the board. She also holds the position of assessor in the working group of social democratic women and in the regional executive committee of the SPD in the district of Western Westphalia. In May 2012 Inge Blask was elected to the Federal Executive Committee of the Working Group of Social Democratic Women as an assessor.

After she had won a campaign candidate within the SPD against the previous member of the state parliament Jürgen Antoni , she entered the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2010 as a direct candidate of the SPD for the constituency of Märkischer Kreis II against Wolfgang Exler (CDU), Peter Köhler (Greens) and Markus Sälzer (FDP). She came second with 35.3 percent, while the direct mandate went to Wolfgang Exler. For the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2012 , she was re-elected as a direct candidate for the SPD in her constituency. With a first vote result of 38.8 percent, she won the constituency this time just against Exler, who made up 38.3 percent.
