In later years, Ingeborg Christiansen was rarely given a long-term commitment and was mostly freelance. In the 1980s she returned to Hamburg for a permanent position at the Theater im Zimmer and was then brought back in front of the camera for a continuous role in the popular television series Das Erbe der Guldenburgs . In the 1990s, the blonde actress was only seen as a guest in individual episodes of well-known series such as Schulz & Schulz and Stubbe - From Case to Case . At the same time, she also did synchronous tasks. At the beginning of the new millennium, Ingeborg Christiansen largely withdrew from work and now lives in Hamburg-Wellingsbüttel .
