Ingegerd Troedsson

Ingegerd Troedsson (born June 5, 1929 in Vaxholm , Stockholm County ; † November 3, 2012 in Grillby , Uppsala County ) was a Swedish politician of the Moderata samlingspartiet and from 1991 to 1994 President of the Reichstag .

Life

Ingegerd Troedsson studied political science after attending school and graduated with a master's degree .

In the Reichstag elections on September 19, 1976 , she was elected for the first time as a candidate for the Moderata samlingspartiet as a member of the Reichstag and was a member of the Reichstag after five re-elections until October 3, 1994.

Between 1976 and 1978 she was Deputy Minister for Social Affairs with responsibility for Health in the government of Prime Minister Thorbjörn Fälldin . Later she was 1st Vice-President of the Reichstag from 1979 to 1991 and most recently also a deputy member of the Social Committee between October 1988 and September 1991.

Between September 30, 1991 and October 3, 1994, she was finally President of the Reichstag herself, making it the first female parliamentary speaker since 1971 who was not a member of the Sveriges socialdemokratiska arbetareparti .
