Ingersauermühle is a district of Ingersau in the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district .

location

Ingersauermühle is on the border with the municipality of Ruppichteroth near Ingersau and on federal roads 507 and 484 . The neighboring town in the south is Winterscheiderbröl .

history

The watermill at the inlet of the Dreisbach into the Bröl was the first building at this point; it owes its name to the noble Ingersauel farmstead down the valley (later Ingersauelerhof, perished in 1981). The station of the Bröltalbahn led to further settlements on the Neunkirchen side under the name Ingersau. A house belongs to the municipality of Ruppichteroth due to the demarcation of the old brook .

In 1830 Ingersauermühle had six residents. In 1845 the mill had four Catholic residents in one building. In 1888 there were eight residents in two houses.

In 1901 the settlement had eight residents, the Ackerer family Balthasar Fuchs, landlord and station owner Peter Fuchs and Müller Heinrich Neuheuser.

The settlement belonged to the Neunkirchen municipality until 1969 .

By resolution of the local council on May 27, 1971, the districts of Ingersauermühle and Pixhof became Neunkirchen-Seelscheid-Ingersau, which put an end to the confusion with the Ingersauelermühle in the old community of Seelscheid.
