Achim Bergmann (born May 16, 1943 - March 1, 2018 ) was a German music publisher . In 1969 he joined the then book publisher Trikont and from 1980 onwards he ran the independent Trikont Musikverlag .

Life

Bergmann came to Munich as a student in the mid-1960s . Politicized by the student movement, he joined Trikont-Buchverlag in 1969 . In 2017 Bergmann married his partner Eva Mair-Holmes, who came to Trikont in 1990. With the Trikont music label, both put a focus on Bavarian music and published artists such as Georg Ringsgwandl and Hans Söllner on the one hand, and compilations with older recordings such as the Voices of Bavaria series on the other .
