Ingmar Knop (* 1975 in Dessau ) is a German lawyer , musician and former neo-Nazi , politician and activist .

Life

Knop studied law , piano , music theory and composition in Halle and Leipzig . He described himself as a “beautiful spirit” who wanted to “make the future worth living and sustainable for all people” and who wanted to free politics from pragmatism and “lack of fascination” through value orientation. He appeared several times at annual congresses of the historical revisionist society for free journalism , for example in 2006 when the congress met under the motto "In the name of justice - politics in the stranglehold of justice".

Political career

Knop had been state chairman of the DVU in Saxony-Anhalt since 2005 , ran as the top candidate for the state elections the following year and ran for his party for the mayoral election in Dessau in 2007. In the same year he became a member of the national board of the DVU and took up a seat on the Dessau-Roßlau city ​​council . In 2009 Knop became Deputy Federal Chairman of the DVU. In the following year he played a key role in the merger negotiations between DVU and NPD .

Knop was a well-known and successful lawyer for the right-wing extremist scene.
