Ingmar Lehmann

Ingmar Lehmann (born December 4, 1946 in Wernigerode ) is a mathematician , university professor and non-fiction author .

Ingmar Lehmann taught as a private lecturer at the Humboldt University in Berlin in the fields of didactics of mathematics. He was also active in elementary school mathematics teacher training. His research focuses include computer-aided mathematics teaching and popularization of mathematics. As a project he was in charge of the digital model library. In the journal “LOG IN” he ​​is responsible for the part “Practice and methodology: Computer science in mathematics lessons”. Lehmann is also active in teacher training. From 2003 to 2011 he was head of the mathematical student society "Leonhard Euler" (MSG) at the Institute for Mathematics at the Humboldt University in Berlin, where he was assigned to the Senator for Education, Science and Research. In 2012 he retired.
