The Oberliga Berlin 1976/77 was the third season of the Berlin Association ballgame teams conducted Oberliga Berlin .
The BFC Preussen secured the championship title, but waived the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga for financial reasons . Since the amateurs from Hertha BSC were not eligible for promotion, the third of the Spandauer SV league took part in this . There, the SSV took third place in Group North B and thus missed the promotion. Champion BFC Preussen took part in the German amateur championship final, in which the team lost in the semifinals to SV Sandhausen .
Due to the relegation of Wacker 04 Berlin from the 2nd Bundesliga, in addition to the SV Berlin police and SC Siemensstadt , VfB Neukölln also had to enter the subordinate amateur league. In return, the BFC Viktoria 1889 and the NFC Rot-Weiß Berlin rose in the following season .
