The 1st Amateur League South Baden 1976/77 was the 27th season of the 1st amateur soccer league in South Baden - today's Association League South Baden . The South Baden amateur champions were Freiburg FC , which also won the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga South . The SC Baden-Baden and Lahr FV 03 had to descend to the 2nd Amateur League. The promoters for the following season were FC Gottmadingen , VfR Rheinfelden and VfR Achern .

SC Freiburg took part in the German amateur soccer championship in 1977 as a representative of the South Baden region. Already in the preliminary round you had to admit defeat to the Berlin representative BFC Preussen ,
