history

FC Radolfzell was founded on July 29, 1903. In 1908 the club merged with FC Singen 04 for a short time and entered under the name FC Radolfzell-Singen , which was dissolved again in 1910. In 1946 the club was dissolved and the Radolfzell Sports Association was founded as its successor. In July 1950 the old name FC Radolfzell was adopted again.

On a sporting level, Radolfzell was represented in the Landesliga Südbaden-Ost from 1946 . In the following years the FCR acted in the amateur league Black Forest-Bodensee in the sixties and again for three seasons in the amateur league South Baden in the seventies .

Current development

The FC Radolfzell rose in 2010 to the Association League South Baden . After the 2010/11 season, the club had to relegate third to last in the Landesliga 3 Südbaden. Then 14 players left FC 03 Radolfzell. There are 13 newcomers, including Neno Rogošić , who was signed by FC Singen 04 . While the re-emergence was narrowly missed in 2011/12, he succeeded a season later in 2012/13. In the 2012/13 season Radolfzell also reached the final of the South Baden Cup for the first time . There they lost to the upper division Bahlinger SC with 1: 3. The 10th place in 2013/14 was followed by the runner-up in the association league in 2014/15, the greatest successes in the club's history, even if they clearly failed in the promotion round to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg at the North Baden runner-up 1. CfR Pforzheim . In the following season 2015/16 Radolfzell played the entire second half of the table and slipped on the last match day for the first time in the season to a relegation zone. In 2017 they celebrated the relay championship in the state league and returned directly to the association league, in which they have played since then.

FC 03 Radolfzell is a cooperation partner of SC Freiburg when it comes to youth. The club's youth work is considered very good. Is a figurehead for successful youth work in the Lake Constance district, which is reflected in many titles (German champion futsal, South Baden indoor champions, C-Oberliga team, indoor district champions, A / B / C youth at least association league)
