The 1st Amateur League South Baden 1965/66 was the 16th season of the 1st Amateur League in South Baden - the forerunner of today's Association League South Baden . The amateur champions of southern Baden became SV Oberkirch , which in the promotion round to the Regionalliga Süd in the Baden-Württemberg group could not prevail against the other amateur champions in Baden-Württemberg and only reached 4th place among the four participating teams in this group. The VfR Achern , the Kehler FV and the VfB Gaggenau had to relegate to the 2nd amateur league. FV Lörrach and Phönix Durmersheim were promoted for the following season .

The SC Baden-Baden took for South Baden in the German amateur football championship in 1966 in part, but failed to equal the amateurs from the SV Werder Bremen , the German Amateur championship were.
